More than 70+ attendees throughout two workshop days contributed to a very successful GeoClaw User’s Workshop, which took place online on March 19-20, 2026. Following the description from the workshop’s webpage, the event featured “a series of short talks by developers and users about interesting GeoClaw-related projects (including also related packages such as D-Claw, ForestClaw, BingClaw, etc.) interspersed, with time for discussion and break-out groups to enable chatting more with the speakers or other participants.” All speakers are listed in the online schedule, with individual speaker pages for some of them.
Most of the talks were recorded and are available on YouTube (see Clawpack Youtube channel), and so was mine, entitled “From Multi-CMT to Dynamic Rupture Models: Informing GeoClaw Tsunami Simulations With Increasing Source Complexity”. The recording is linked below:
Many thanks to all participants for an insightful workshop. This concludes this blog post for now. No liability is taken for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
